About Fae Mellichamp, M.S.: Fae Mellichamp began her career in psychometrics working with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation where she was responsible for development of a wide variety of state licensure examinations, including such diverse areas as construction, podiatric medicine, electrolysis, landscape architecture, opticianry, and more.

She has hands on experience with all phases of examination development, including developing RFPs, writing proposals, conducting job analyses, developing examination specifications, managing item banks, scoring, equating, and statistical analyses. She was instrumental in developing the Department’s ADA accommodation application process during the early 1990’s. After twelve years with the State of Florida, she joined Professional Testing, Inc. in 2001 where she serves as Senior Psychometrician, managing examination programs for a variety of groups including Behavior Analysts, FL Construction Industry, Certified Dental Technologists, and Cardiovascular Credentialing International. In 2004, Fae served as the lead editor for the Revised Edition of CLEAR’s “The Americans with Disabilities Act: Information for Credentialing Examinations.”

About Margaret Doss: Margaret Doss works as Environmental Compliance Manager for the Columbia County (Georgia) Water Utility and serves as Chair of the Georgia State Board of Examiners for Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators and Laboratory Analysts. Her B.S. in Microbiology is from Clemson University, and her Master of Education in Adult Education is from the University of Georgia. She holds certification as a wastewater lab analyst, water lab analyst, and wastewater treatment plant operator.

Margaret is a member of AWWA, WEF, the Georgia Association of Water Professionals, and the Standard Methods Committee (Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, APHA/AWWA/WEF). Margaret has served as a member of ABC’s Laboratory Analyst V&E Committee, Wastewater Treatment Division Director, and is a former President of ABC. She currently chairs the Plant Maintenance V&E Committee, is a member of the Strategic Planning, Certification, Awards and Continuing Education Review Committees and served as a 2010 V&E Council Director. Margaret is a recipient of the Harris F. Seidel Lifetime Achievement Award. In addition, Margaret is a subject-matter expert consultant for ABC.
